Ahmed Dickinson launches Cubafilin Records.

The Cubafilin Records online shop launched in August 2014 with both recordings and scores available for instant purchase.

Since 2008 Cubafilin Records has been dedicated to promoting recordings of great music from Cuba. We have now expanded by presenting the latest scores from genius composers Leo Brouwer, Eduardo Martin and very soon the late Jose Antonio (Ñico) Rojas amongst others. In the coming months Cubafilin Records will begin to represent and feature other talented composers and artists as it is our goal to champion visionary music that possesses both integrity and commercial and universal value.

Ahmed Dickinson at St Martin in the Fields

 

Ahmed comes back to St Martin in the Fields. This time championing the work by Cuban composers with a lunchtime summer recital in this prestigious venue at the heart of London. The repertoire comprises works by Luis Manuel Molina, Leo Brouwer, Eduardo Martin and Jose Antonio Rojas.

Mestizo Trio at The Southbank

 Ahmed Dickinson Cardenas, Emma Blanco (violin) and Hammadi Rencurrell (percussion) will perform a lunchtime recital at 1pm on Friday July 25th in the Front Room at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. They will present a programme of music by contemporary Cuban composers, with a few surprises thrown in! Entry is free.
