Ahmed Dickinson Cardenas returns to Sage Gateshead with a performance packed with some of his favourite guitar works, displaying the diversity of compositional styles and tendencies found in Cuban composers from diverse generations including Leo Brouwer, “Latin Grammy” winner Yalil Guerra, Eduardo Martín, Luis Manuel Molina and Jose Antonio Rojas.

A concoction of lively, fresh repertoire combining traditional Cuban and Latin American genres with classical styles and a hint of Jazz.
